Job summary

SAM is seeking a Survey Technician to support both office and field staff by processing incoming information and producing final land surveying deliverables.

You will report to the Project Manager and perform technical tasks using the latest A/E/C technologies, helping to increase project efficiency and client satisfaction through accurate data and coordinated CAD deliverables.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of relevant experience required.
• AutoCAD experience is required; Civil3D and/or MicroStation is a plus.
• LiDAR extraction experience, TopoDOT, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• CAD drafting to support surveying projects (basemapping, topography, utilities, as-builts).
• Field to finish processing of field data files through Carlson Survey and/or Civil3D.
• Carrying out initial QC of mapping products.
• Coordinating with supervisor to produce CAD deliverables in client-specific or SAM standards.
• Detail-oriented and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Your Impact at SAM

As a Survey Technician, You Will Support Office And Field Staff By Processing Incoming Information And Producing Final Land Surveying Project Deliverables. What You Bring to SAM

• Strong computer and technical skills
• AutoCAD experience is required; Civil3D and/or MicroStation is a plus
