Job summary

Johnston’s Surveying, an established Central Florida firm, seeks a Survey CAD Technician for our Oviedo office. This is a drafting seat requiring experience with survey data in Civil 3D and understanding boundary vs topo.

You will process field data into base maps, edit drawings in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and coordinate with field crews to resolve data issues across multiple projects. Requirements include 2+ years CAD experience in land surveying, Civil 3D, familiarity with Carlson Survey a plus,

Qualifications

• 2+ years CAD experience specific to land surveying (not just general drafting).
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D — Carlson Survey is a plus, not a requirement.
• Comfortable reading and applying legal descriptions, plats, and deed research.
• Central Florida survey experience preferred — you know the counties, you know the quirks.
