What You Bring
- Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Surveying – CST Level I or II (Office) certification preferred.
- 3+ years of surveying experience in preparing survey‑related deliverables and project management in construction, boundaries, and topographic surveys.
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, with Autodesk Civil 3D (v. 2020–2024) and Carlson Software preferred.
- Proficient in use of Microstation and OpenRoads is a plus.
- Must have boundary and right‑of‑way resolution experience.
- Knowledge of surveying practices and procedures (field & office).
- Ability to work 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM Monday–Thursday; 7:00 AM – 11:30 AM Friday with occasional overtime.
- Ability to read and interpret plats, deeds, easements, and plans.
- Must be able to work independently and in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in an environment that may contain venomous snakes and insects such as ticks, red bugs, wasps, bees, hornets, yellow jackets, etc.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in a wide range of temperatures.
- Ability to climb hills and walk long distances.
- Ability to traverse different types of terrain.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to interact both verbally and in writing.
Schedule
On site: Monday–Thursday 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; Friday 7:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.
