GardaWorld Security Services in Mentor, Ohio is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer on a part-time weekend 2nd shift (Saturday and Sunday, 12 p.m. – 12 a.m.).

You’ll monitor surveillance screens, note important details, and report observations with accurate, timely documentation. Ideal candidates are authorized to work in the United States, hold a High School Diploma or GED, and can pass a thorough screening.

As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalade in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications of a Surveillance Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skillsStrong proficiency with technology
