Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Surveillance Security Officer to monitor security systems, document incidents, and respond to threats across various environments such as security operations centers and call centers. The role emphasizes sharp observation, attention to detail, and strong report writing.

Responsibilities include conducting patrols, controlling access, and collaborating with law enforcement when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass extensive screening process.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Sharp visual acuity and concentration.
• Valid driver's license with no restrictions.
• Must have a TWIC card.
• At least 1 year of supervisor experience in security.
• Able to walk and stand for long periods.
• Must obtain a security license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems and detect suspicious activity.
• Document events and write detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure safety of premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities.
• Analyze security systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement in emergencies.
• Ensure safety of people and property.
• Train new officers and provide on-site coaching.
• Direct security officers, assign posts, manage shifts.
• Show leadership as a shift supervisor and assist officers and clients.
• Enrolled in aviation training to obtain FAA drone certification.
