GardaWorld Security is seeking a Surveillance Security Officer in Rochester, NY. You will monitor security systems, spot threats on screens, and respond to incidents to keep people and property safe.

Qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S., have a HS diploma or GED, pass screening, and show strong report writing and tech skills. Uniform provided; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, holidays, disability and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.

• Able to pass an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual attention and concentration
• Proficient with technology
• Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience is a plus
• Possession of a state license if required

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity
• Document events and incidents with detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure premises safety
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities
• Analyze systems to identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement during emergencies
• Ensure safety and protection of people and property
