GardaWorld is currently seeking a part-time Surveillance Security Officer for the Romulus, Michigan site. You will monitor security systems, document events, and respond to incidents while patrolling and controlling access to secure areas.

The role emphasizes sharp observation, detailed reporting, and teamwork with law enforcement when needed. Prior security-related experience is advantageous, and a High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities Of Surveillance Security Officer

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications Of a Surveillance Security Officer

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GEDBe able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
