Job summary

Marshall Investigative Group (MIG) in Juneau, AK seeks Surveillance Agents to conduct stationary and mobile surveillance for insurance claim investigations nationwide. Must have a valid driver's license; Private Investigator license and mobile surveillance experience preferred.

Travel is required for full-time work. We offer comprehensive training, expense reimbursements, and a pathway to advance in surveillance and security roles within a well-established firm with over 15 years of experience

Qualifications

• Must have a current, valid Driver's License.
• Private Investigator license and mobile surveillance experience preferred; may accept licensed PI firm experience.
• Must have or obtain Auto Insurance with 100/300/100 coverage before employment (100k BI per person, 300k BI per accident, 100k PD per accident).
• Personal Computer with MS Word required.
• Proficiency in utilizing surveillance equipment, technology, and platforms.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in mobile surveillance is highly desirable.
• Traveling is required for Full-Time Employees.
• Observing and conducting surveillance 8-10 hours per day.
• Weekend work is required as needed for surveillance subjects.
• Keen observational skillset with attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Follow established protocols for surveillance operations in compliance with legal requirements.
• Maintain a vigilant and discreet presence while observing subjects.
• Document and report findings, incidents, and observations promptly.
• Conduct mobile surveillance using various monitoring equipment, including cameras.
• Operate surveillance equipment and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
• Prepare, review, and submit detailed reports within 48 hours of surveillance completion.
• Travel as needed to accommodate full-time hours and client needs.
