Job summary

Allied Universal® Compliance and Investigation Services is hiring a Surveillance Investigator. The role involves discreet mobile and stationary surveillance of claimants to support insurance claim administration.

Responsibilities include conducting investigations across workers’ comp, general liability, property/casualty, and disability, using various surveillance methods, and reporting observations clearly. Travel and independent work are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Post offer, complete Allied Universal Investigations training/orientation.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable work experience, preferably investigations.
• Flexible to work varied hours including weekends/holidays.
• Type reports in MS Word with minimal errors.
• Capable of operating laptops, video cameras and cell phones.
• Ability to work independently and stay focused under pressure.
• Maintain professionalism in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent investigations of insurance claims.
• Utilize surveillance techniques to monitor subjects covertly.
• Document observations and report clearly and concisely.
• Coordinate with other investigators and law enforcement as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal/ethical standards.
