Advantage Investigations in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Full-time Surveillance Investigator to conduct daily covert surveillance, document activities, and provide clear reports to the operations team. The role requires travel within the state and surrounding states and maintaining PI licensure where required.

Qualifications

• Private Investigator Licenses required – licensing varies between states.
• Experience in surveillance/claims investigations preferred.
• Access to a reliable surveillance vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel within home state and surrounding states for work.
• Flexible weekly schedule; includes weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Meet state requirements to obtain/maintain PI license in multiple states.
• Must pass a Drug Screen.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveillance including covert, stationary, and mobile.
• Surveillance across home state and surrounding states.
• Record subject activity on video recording device.
• Perform alive and well checks, locations, basic scene investigations, paint sample analysis, EDR, and RCS deployments/retrievals.
• Prepare and complete a written report of observations.
• Upload video evidence and a surveillance report.
