Job summary

VRC Investigations in Richmond, VA is seeking experienced Surveillance Investigators to join a field-based, hourly, non-exempt team. The role requires daily travel within the designated city/territory.

You will conduct stationary, mobile, and covert surveillance, document findings, obtain video evidence, and testify as needed at hearings or trials. Training will be provided, with advancement opportunities in SIU investigations.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze information and develop logical questions.
• Ability to report findings accurately and clearly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Must work efficiently with little or no supervision.
• Must pass a drug test and pre-employment test.

Responsibilities

• Ability to conduct stationary, covert, and mobile surveillance.
• Complete detailed and accurate investigative reports.
• Conduct research to develop new information.
• Provide daily updates regarding current files.
• Formulate investigative strategies based on individual assignments.
• Communicate results with clients.
