Job summary

Advantage Surveillance is seeking a Surveillance Investigator in Minneapolis, MN to perform basic surveillance and investigative tasks. A comprehensive training program, door-to-door travel pay, vehicle allowance, fuel card, and a high-quality camera kit are provided.

Responsibilities include locating subjects, conducting covert observations, recording activity, and compiling a written report with video evidence. Overnight travel is possible; benefits are generous.

Qualifications

• Private Investigator license – We assist with this
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Must meet state requirements for PI license/registration
• Ability to pass a 10 panel drug screen
• Reliable vehicle and driving record
• Ability to travel up to 100% of the time
• Weekend and holiday availability

Job Description:

Advantage Surveillance is seeking a Surveillance Investigator in Minneapolis, MN Area. The qualified candidate will be responsible for conducting basic surveillance and investigative activities for our operations team. As a new investigator, we will provide you with a comprehensive training program, door to door travel pay, a vehicle allowance, fuel card, a top-of-the-line camera kit, as well as our other generous benefit offerings listed below.

Responsibilities:

• Locating Subjects of assigned investigations.


• Conducting covert observations of the Subject (Both Stationary and Mobile Surveillance).


• Recording Subject activity on a video recording device.


• Preparing a written descriptive log of observations (Surveillance Report).


• Uploading Video Evidence and a Surveillance Report

Qualifications:

• Private Investigator license – We assist with this


• Creative Thinking, Self-Motivated


• Reliable Vehicle


• Good Oral and Written Communication Skills


• Must meet state mandated requirements to obtain or maintain a Private Detective / Private Investigator license / registration in multiple states


• Ability to Pass a 10 Panel Drug Screening.


• Good Driving Record


• Weekend and Holiday Availability


• Prior related surveillance & workers’ compensation experience is helpful but not required


• Ability to travel up to 100% of the time

Salary: $20-$25 a hour
