Job summary

Delta Group in the United States is seeking talented Private Investigators to join our growing team. This role focuses on ethical surveillance and factual data collection for Workers’ Compensation and Liability claims, primarily through field surveillance and reporting.

Candidates must meet basic requirements, be willing to obtain state licensure, and be able to travel. We offer a comprehensive compensation package with hourly pay, lodging and travel reimbursements, and medical benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older where required by state law.
• Associate degree or comparable field experience preferred.
• Must pass background check.
• Must pass a clean driving record.
• Must be willing to obtain investigator licensing within home state.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveillance on Liability and Work Comp Insurance claims.
• Prolonged periods of sitting in a vehicle or stationary positions during surveillance.
• Travel to different locations for investigations by driving, walking, or public transit.
• Maintain visual focus during surveillance activities for extended periods.
• Review and dissect comprehensive reports and police reports.
• Write detailed surveillance reports to company standards.
• Review video to prepare reports and covertly document subjects.
• Search, locate and utilize social media throughout the investigative process.
• Think quickly and apply good judgement to evolving surveillance scenarios.
• Knowledge of pretexting is preferable.
