Job summary

IVIRMA North America is seeking a Surrogacy & Donor Registered Nurse Coordinator in Clearfield, UT to join the new RMA of Utah practice. The role involves collaborating with a clinical team to manage care for patients using egg, sperm, and gestational carriers, ensuring FDA-compliant chart reviews, and supporting physicians in care planning.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN, has 6+ months of clinical experience, and is proficient with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.

Qualifications

• BSN required and RN license active in the relevant state.
• Minimum of 6 months clinical experience in a related field.
• Experience working with oocyte donors, sperm donors, gestational carriers and intended parents/recipients is preferred.
• Prior experience in women’s healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a specialized clinical team to manage care for patients utilizing third party reproduction.
• Follow protocols and FDA compliance with chart reviews for eligibility.
• Support physicians by identifying patient care issues and advising on options.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and address anxieties.
• Resolve patient problems using multidisciplinary team strategies.
• Educate patients about treatment plans and medications via e-learning and other resources.
• Follow up on lab values and semen analysis results.
• Assist physicians with in-office procedures as needed.
• Maintain cooperative relationships within and across departments.

Surrogacy & Donor Registered Nurse Coordinator

Full-Time UT - Clearfield, Clearfield, UT, US

IVIRMA North America network of state-of-the-art fertility practices in the United States, is currently seeking a Surrogacy & Donor Registered Nurse Coordinator to join our new RMA of Utah practice!

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with a specialized clinical team to manage the care of patients utilizing third party reproduction (egg donors, sperm donors, and/or gestational carriers)
• Follow required RMA protocols and procedures, including ensuring FDA compliance with periodic review of patient charts for the FDA eligibility determination
• Contribute to physicians’ effectiveness by identifying patient care issues; provide information and commentary pertinent to patient care plan; recommend possible options and courses of action as appropriate; implement physician directives
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients; comfort patients by anticipating their anxieties and answering questions and concerns
• Resolve patient problems and concerns by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies
• Patient education in regard to treatment plan and medications through e-learning and other patient education available
• Follow up with patients regarding laboratory values and semen analysis results
• Assist physician with in-office procedures as needed
• Maintain a cooperative and productive working relationship intra-departmentally as well as inter-departmentally

Education Required

Experience Required

• Strong clinical skills, minimum of 6 months clinical experience
• Experience working with oocyte donors, sperm donors, gestational carriers and intended parents/recipients
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office; prior EMR experience preferred
• Prior experience in women’s healthcare preferred

Licenses & Certifications Required

• Active Registered Nurse state license
• BLS and/or ACLS (IV certification a plus).
