University of Miami Health System in Miami seeks a Full Time Registered Nurse (UTower) to deliver patient-family centered care with evidence-based practice. The RN-2 will oversee staff, assess patients, and coordinate care across the team, ensuring safety and quality in a diverse, culturally aware environment.

Qualifications include a Florida RN license, ACLS/BLS, BSN preferred (ASN with plan accepted), and a minimum of 2 years nursing experience.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred; ASN with 2 years to BSN completion.
• Florida Registered Nurse License, ACLS, BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology; nursing care methods; health and safety guidelines; interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers patient-family centered care using evidence-based standards.
• Oversees nursing staff in daily practice.
• Assesses patients and documents nursing care plans.
• Notifies physicians of symptoms and vital signs changes.
• Modifies treatment plans based on patient response and orders.
• Reviews diagnostic tests and reports findings.
• Consults with physicians and care team to plan and evaluate care.
• Prepares patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Provides culturally competent care and psychological support.
• Administers medications and maintains accurate records.
• Communicates care plan to patient, family, and team; ensures HIPAA compliance.
