Qualifications

• Master's degree - graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Three (3) years clinical experience in related area or specialty field.
• Physician Assistant: AZ (PA:AZ).
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR).
• American Heart Association advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Drug Enforcement Administration - Control Sub Reg Cert: AZ (DEA-AZ).
• Physician Assistant ARCEPA (PA-C).

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories and perform physical examinations.
• Order diagnostic tests, establish diagnosis and provide care.
• Manage complex surgical patients, often in critical care units.
• Assist in admissions, transfers or discharges; coordinate with care teams.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement programs.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to optimize outcomes.
