Qualifications

• Graduate of an education program in surgical technology accredited by a nationally recognized programmatic accreditation agency.
• Credential in Surgical Technology through a national certification program accredited by the National Commission on Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
• Minimum of two years related work experience in the past five years.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom and clinical instruction and supervision of Surgical Technology students.
• Direct, evaluate, and report student progress toward course objectives.
• Update and review course material as needed to maintain accreditation standards.
• Assist in recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts.
