Job summary

St. Thomas Surgery Center - Midtown is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our ambulatory facility. Enjoy a weekday schedule with no weekends, no on-call, and no holidays, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

You will work as a crucial member of the surgical team, supporting sterile technique, patient safety, and efficient case flow in a fast-paced environment. Previous ambulatory center experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED and completion of Surgical Technician Program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certification as required by state and/or center.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.

Responsibilities

• Be a vital member of the surgical team.
• Assist with aseptic technique and patient safety.
• Support the flow of surgical cases and patient care in an ambulatory setting.
