Job summary

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Surgical Technologist for a PRN swing shift. You will prepare the operating room, sterilize instruments, pass instruments, and provide direct support to the surgical team to ensure patient safety and aseptic conditions.

The role requires a Trade School Degree and licensure as a Surgical Technologist in the practicing state. Base pay ranges from $30.26 to $44.75 per hour with additional compensation possibilities.

Qualifications

Trade School Degree is required.
Surgical Technologist licensure required in the state of practice.
Ensure sterile field and assist surgical team during procedures.

Responsibilities

Prepare the operating room and setup for procedures.
Pass instruments and maintain a sterile field during surgery.
Assist surgeons and nurses and monitor patient safety.
Transfer patients to recovery and apply dressings as needed.
