Resolve Pain in Memphis, TN seeks a Surgical Technologist to support operative procedures, prepare sterile rooms, and ensure a smooth patient experience. You will assist in preparing patients, maintaining asepsis, and handing instruments to the surgical team.
The role requires a graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program, instrumentation experience, and current BCLS certification. Strong teamwork and calm handling of urgent situations are essential.
Surgical Technologist shall assist with procedures in our facility, including but not limited to, preparing and sterilizing the procedure rooms, as well as the necessary equipment and instruments, before any procedure, assist in preparing the patients for procedures, and help provide a great patient experience overall.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of surgical technology and procedure. Experience with instrumentation is greatly preferred.
A graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program and/or other relevant qualification for employment following applicable state laws and regulations. Experience with instrumentation. Current BCLS.
Development and maintenance of effective relationships with medical and administrative staff, patients, and the public. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Ability to remain calm and poised in urgent situations.
Skill in exercising initiative, judgment, problem-solving, and decision making. Ability to set priorities and avoid crises management.
Surgical technology, medical terminology, sterilization techniques, and procedures. Computer systems and applications.
Work requires some physical effort. May be expected to assist in patient ambulation. Should be able to lift to 50 pounds independently. Work requiring light physical exertion is intermittent and is not a routine part of this job.
Work is performed under normal working conditions in a surgical environment. Must be able to work under pressure.
