Job summary

Qualifications

• Technical certificate in surgical technology required.
• 1-3 years experience as Surgical Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the Operating Room for procedures, organizing instruments and equipment.
• Assists the surgeon as first or second scrub person and maintains a sterile field.
• Accounts for instruments, needles, and sponges with circulating nurse.
• Operates OR equipment and ensures safe handling of implants.
• Supports training of new staff and transports patients to OR as needed.
