Azza HealthCare Agency seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist to support surgeons during procedures across all age groups, ensuring patient safety and strict sterile technique.

You will prepare aseptic setups, handle specimens, assist with wound care and dressings, participate in rounds, admissions, discharges, on-call rotations, and act as a preceptor for students. This clinical role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and responsiveness to emergencies in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualificações

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or eligible per state law, with specialty training.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and surgical protocols.
• Ability to work in a team and respond to emergencies.

Responsabilidades

• Supports surgical teams by preparing aseptic setups, connecting clinical equipment, managing surgical supplies, verifying specimens, and maintaining sterile techniques.
• Participates in surgical briefings, site verification, and documentation.
• Assists with wound care, dressing changes, specimen handling, and emergency procedures.
• Manages patient admission/discharge, billing, and participates in on-call rotations.
• Acts as a preceptor for students and ensures adherence to policies and quality standards.
• Performs additional duties such as specimen collection, patient transport, and post-mortem care, under supervision of registered nurses.
