Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepares operating rooms, ensuring equipment and supplies are disinfected, assembled and in working order.
• Maintains the sterile field in the operating room.
• Provides supportive care pre-operatively: preps skin, positions patients, monitors vitals.
• During surgery, performs scrub functions, passes instruments, tracks items used and assists in wound dressing.
