WellSpan York Hospital is seeking an entry level Surgical Technologist to assist in preparing operating rooms for surgeries and to support the surgical team during procedures. The position includes rotating shifts during orientation, on-call requirements, and holiday coverage.

Schedule
Full-Time: 40 Hours/Weekly
5 (8) hour shifts during orientation. 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
After orientation, schedule per department need. Call required, starting at end of shift until 0600 next morning. Weekend call is Friday at the end of shift until 0600 Monday morning. 2-3 calls per week, every 3-4 weekend shifts. Holidays: 1 major, 1 minor.
General Summary
Provides entry level technical services and assistance in the operating room in accordance with established procedures, protocols and regulations. Prepares operating rooms for surgery using appropriate techniques.
