Baptist Health is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for the Main OR at Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time day position runs Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 7:00am to 7:00pm, with on-call requirements.

The role support includes sterile field setup, assisting the surgeon, specimen handling and working with the team to minimize anesthesia time and ensure patient safety. Less than 1 year of experience is listed as a requirement while BLS and a degree are

Competenze

• Certified Surgical Technologist with current credentials.
• Less than 1 year of surgical technologist experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Associates degree or vocational training required.

We are looking for a Certified Surgical Technologist to support our Main Operating Room at Baptist Medical Center South

This Surgical Technologist position is a Full-Time Days working Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 7:00am to 7:00pm. This position will require taking call. This Surgical Technologist position is located at our South Campus.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Assembling, organizing and maintaining a sterile field for operative procedures
• Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and progression of the case and prepare accordingly
• Proper disposition of specimens and instruments
• Works with entire surgical team to minimize anesthesia time and promote patient safety
• Call is required for this position.

Experience Requirements

• Less than 1 year Surgical Technologist Experience

Education & Credential Requirements

• Vocational School or
• Associates Degree Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
