Job summary

Mercy St. Louis Hospital is hiring Surgical Technologists to join the Operating Room team. We offer both part-time and full-time opportunities with a $7,500 sign-on bonus to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Surgical Technologists encouraged to apply; non-certified candidates with acceptable surgical technology experience may be considered.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Performs the primary function of a Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room.
• Maintains accountability for the provision of surgical instruments to the surgical team.
• Coordinates the care of the surgical patient with other team members.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality.

Education

BLS certification

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

Education
