Hartford HealthCare is seeking an experienced Surgical Technology Instructor to educate students through didactic, lab, and clinical components. The instructor will help graduates gain entry-level CST readiness and contribute to the health care team.
The role requires an Associate's Degree with a CAAHEP-accredited program, NBSTSA CST credential, and 3+ years of related experience. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in the past 7 years are preferred.

The surgical technologist instructors are responsible for the education of surgical technology students through didactic instruction, laboratory, and other clinical skills and experience components of the surgical technology program. The instructor's role is to provide ST students with the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to gain employment as entry-level surgical technologists and become contributing members of the health care team. This will be accomplished by preparing competent graduates in the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective learning domains and meeting or exceeding the criteria set forth in the current CAAHEP Standards and Guidelines for the Accreditation of Educational Programs in Surgical Technology.
