Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Surgical Technician to support pre-, intra-, and post-procedure activities. You will assist with OR setup, maintain sterile fields, handle instruments, and verify implants under supervision.
Responsibilities include assisting the surgeon and circulating nurse, operating sterilization equipment, and aiding in training new staff. Certification is preferred; less than 1 year experience is acceptable.

A Brief Overview Responds and assists the professional nursing staff and Physicians during the pre-procedure, procedure, and post procedure period. This position will assist with procedure room set-up, equipment cleaning and maintenance, pre and post procedure assistance as directed by the Registered Nurse as well as entering and maintaining inventory control and clerical duties for the department.
