MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, IA is seeking a Surgical Technologist for a full-time day shift. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered.
You will prepare the operating room, instrument cases, and maintain sterile technique under the supervision of the circulating nurse. Minimum requirements include graduation from a surgical technologist program (or an LPN with surgical experience), certification as a surgical technologist, and at least 2 years of experience.

Position Purpose: The surgical technologist, using the principles of medical asepsis, prepares the operating room for surgical cases of all specialties and instruments the surgical procedures anticipating the needs of the surgeon. The surgical technologist provides care within the MercyOne North Iowa Standards of Care, AORN Standards of Care and Practice and the Operating Room Policies and Procedures.
