Harris Health System seeks a Supplemental Surgical Technologist II for Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital in Houston, TX. You will assist the surgical team, maintain aseptic technique, and ensure the OR is prepared and safe for procedures.

The role requires knowledge of instruments, equipment, sutures, and procedures, with strong attention to detail and communication. Flexible, part-time schedule with potential weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Certifications: NBSTSA or NCCT and current CPR certification.
• One year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team during procedures while maintaining aseptic technique.
• Prepare the operating room with instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Anticipate needs of the surgeon and provide instrument passing and handling.
• Support patient safety and efficient OR workflow.
