Responsibilities

• Maintain aseptic technique and standard precautions.
• Prepare, set up, and maintain sterile supplies and the surgical environment.
• Select, stage, and pass instruments and supplies to the surgical team.
• Assist with patient care in the perioperative setting.
• Care for, inspect, clean, and maintain surgical equipment.
• Support cardiothoracic cases as assigned.
• Ensure readiness and proper functioning of tools and equipment throughout procedures.
