Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our Operating Room team at our New Jersey campus. You will support sterile technique, prepare surgical equipment, and assist surgeons to ensure patient safety throughout procedures.

The ideal candidate has completed a surgical tech program, is BLS certified, and can work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. NJ licensure requirements apply, with national certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• NJ requirements under the Surgical Technologist law to be considered.
• BLS is required.
• 6 months OR experience is strongly preferred.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech Program and a Certified Surgical Tech.
• The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 1 year surgical scrub experience which is preferred.
• National certification is preferred.
• Must be self-starter who works well independently.
• Time management and prioritizing skills a must.
• Ability to multi task.
