Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL seeks a Surgical Technologist I (PRN Days) to join the Perioperative Services team. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will act as a scrub nurse, handle instruments and supplies, anticipate surgeon needs, and contribute to safe patient care throughout procedures.

Responsibilities include assisting with support services for operative patients, inventory management, environmental cleanliness, and cross-training in related perioperative roles as needed

Qualifications

• Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the Surgical Technologist I acts as a scrub person who handles instruments, supplies and equipment during the surgical procedure.
• Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and surgical team and ensures quality patient care.
• Role includes assignments in other ancillary perioperative tasks as needed.
