Job summary

A healthcare facility located about an hour from Butte, Montana is seeking a full-time Surgical Technologist to join their team! The role involves preparing equipment and sterile technique, supporting the operating room team, and ensuring patient care aligned with physician directives.

Pay ranges from $22.37 to $29.82 per hour (DOE). Schedule is Monday to Friday with on-call every three weeks. NBSTSA or NCCT certification and BLS are required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Be a Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA or NCCT certification required).
• BLS certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• The Surgical Technologist is responsible for the provision of patient care to meet identified patient outcomes, and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the physician and Peri-Operative Surgical nursing team.
• Prepares the equipment, instruments and supplies during surgery and protects the sterile area.
• Displays a clear understanding of the surgical procedure being performed to anticipate the needs of the performing surgeon.
