Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Surgical Tech to support operating room teams across specialties. The role includes preparing and scrubbing for procedures, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting surgeons as needed.

Needed are completion of a Surgical Technology program and BLS certification within 6 months. Excellent customer service, interpersonal skills and basic computer literacy are required as part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in Surgical Technology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers within 6 months, per department policy.
• Knowledge of aseptic surgical techniques used in preparing materials, supplies and equipment.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; basic computer proficiency.

Aufgaben

• Performs preparatory, scrubbing and related services for surgeries in all specialty areas.
• Maintains a clean, safe operating room and sterile field; assists with gowning/gloving and instrument handling.
• Transports patients and equipment; notifies staff of equipment issues.
• Maintains specialty cart/items and ensures equipment sterility and readiness.
• Assists as Second Assistant as necessary; adheres to safety and aseptic protocols.
