Job summary

Trinity Health in Westerville, OH is seeking a Surgical Technician to support the OR team under RN direction. The role covers setting up the surgical field and assisting the surgeon during procedures while participating in on-going patient care. You will work four 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm EST with on-call and holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a surgical technology program with NBSTSA/NCCT certification or a graduate of a school of practical nursing.
• BLS healthcare provider certification required.
• License to practice as a practical nurse in Ohio if PN graduate.

Position Purpose: The Surgical Technician, under the direction of a Registered Nurse, will provide patient care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person's physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. Minimum Qualifications:

• Licensure / Certification: If a graduate of a school of practical nursing, current license in good standing to practice as a practical nurse in the State of Ohio.
• BLS healthcare provider training required.
