Job summary

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team. You will prepare instruments, maintain a sterile field, pass instruments to the surgeon, and assist with patient transfer to recovery, ensuring safety and cleanliness throughout procedures.

Virginia licensure as a Surgical Technologist, NBSTSA/NCCA certification, and BLS are REQUIRED, with prior experience preferred.

• Prior Surgical Technologist experience PREFERRED.

Responsibilities

The Surgical Technologist assists in applying dressings, securing surgical drapes and transferring patients to recovery areas.
