Job summary

The Advanced Center for Surgery in Vero Beach, under United Surgical Partners International, is hiring a Surgical Technologist Per Diem (2 days weekly minimum). This busy ambulatory surgery center focuses on Orthopedics and Neurology procedures, requiring skilled teamwork and strict aseptic technique.

The role supports surgical procedures, maintains sterile fields, and prepares instruments and supplies. Strong communication and adaptability are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certification as required by state and/or center
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred
• Experience with robotic total joint
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions
• Strong teamwork and communication with staff, patients, and physicians

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and functions as a surgical team member

The Advanced Center for Surgery is a busy, multispecialty ambulatory surgery center in Vero Beach, performing outpatient procedures in Orthopedics and Neurology.

Surgical Technologist at The Advanced Center for Surgery

The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
