Job summary

Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care is seeking a Surgical Specialty Technologist to support complex procedures in a high-volume operating room. The role involves preparing operating rooms, instruments, and advanced surgical equipment for specialty surgeries, while maintaining aseptic technique and sterile field integrity.

You will assist surgeons and nurses throughout procedures, anticipate needed supplies, perform accurate surgical counts, and help troubleshoot and support surgical technology

Qualifications

• Experience or training as a Surgical Specialty Technologist.
• Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation, sterile processing practices, and OR workflow.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Attention to detail, especially for counts, labeling, and aseptic technique.
• Comfort with assisting during advanced procedures and using/monitoring surgical technology.
