Advanced Spine Center of Wisconsin is hiring a full-time Surgical Technologist to join our surgical team. The selected candidate will scrub for procedures, maintain a sterile field, and prepare instruments and supplies while collaborating with physicians and staff in a two-operating-room center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and completion of a surgical technician program.
• Certification as required by state or center.
• BLS certification.
• 1+ year surgical tech experience in ambulatory surgical center or hospital.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with staff and physicians.

Advanced Spine Center of Wisconsin was designed with the goal of providing the best experience for patients and their loved ones. The facility has two operating rooms and one procedure room that are equipped with the latest in advanced surgical technology.

Surgical Technologist/Scrub Tech at Advanced Spine of Wisconsin

The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program
• Certification as required by state and/or center
• BLS Certification
• 1+ years of Surgical Tech experience in an ambulatory surgical center and/or hospital setting.
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must excel in teamwork and possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians
