Role Overview

The Surgical Technologist Non-Certified assists in surgical procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse, ensuring a safe, patient-centered environment. They prepare the operative suite, set up sterile fields, pass instruments, and anticipate the needs of the surgical team, especially for moderate to high acuity cases. Responsibilities include maintaining aseptic techniques, troubleshooting equipment, managing supplies, and supporting performance improvement initiatives. They also aid in room turnover, patient transport, and ensuring compliance with safety and accreditation standards.

Key Duties
