United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI) is hiring a Certified Surgical Tech at Golden Ridge Ortho Center in Golden, CO. The Surgical Technologist will scrub for procedures, maintain a sterile field, and prep supplies as part of the surgical team.

Strong teamwork, communication, and knowledge of aseptic technique are essential. Applicants should have a high school diploma with surgical tech training and state certification; ASC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with completion of a surgical technician program.
• Certification as required by state and/or center.
• Prior ambulatory surgical center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and functions as a member of the team.
• Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures and prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment.
• Supports quality improvement activities and collaborates with physicians and staff.

Surgical Technologist at Golden Ridge Ortho Center

The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certification as required by state and/or center
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must excel in teamwork and possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians

Hourly Range: $29- $42(based on experience)
