Job summary

Iowa Ortho in Grimes, IA seeks a Surgical Technician or RN who Scrubs to support orthopedic and spine cases in our ambulatory surgery center. You will scrub, assist as circulating, prepare cases, and uphold aseptic technique with a patient‑centered team.

Qualifications

• Completion of Surgical Technology program or past comparable job experience.
• RN license to practice in Iowa.
• Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the operating room.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to surgical procedures.
• Prior experience in Orthopedics preferred.
• Ability to maintain a BLS qualification for Surg Tech, ACLS for RN.
• Ability to perform in situations requiring set limits, standards and strict adherence to established procedures and guidelines.
• Excellent data collection and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Ability to maintain composure in emergency, critical and/or uncommon situations.

Job Overview

Iowa Orthopedic Center is actively seeking a motivated Surgical Technician or RN who Scrubs to join our team at our state of the art Ambulatory Surgery Center. In this role, you will care for patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric, and be an integral team member providing surgical support for all bone, muscle, joint and spine cases. This role offers a dynamic and team‑oriented environment focused on mutual support and improvement of patient outcomes.
