Responsibilities

• Prepares room, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Provides scrub services for major and minor surgical cases.
• Transports patients to designated areas and assists with patient positioning.
• Performs operating room sanitation tasks and second assisting duties under surgeon supervision.
• Inventories and orders specialty instruments and supplies unique to surgical service.
