Job summary

The Elliot 1 Day Surgery Center is seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join their team at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH. You will prepare operating rooms and equipment, assist surgeons, sterilize instruments, and transport patients as needed.

Requirements include a Surgical Technician certification, BLS, a NH certification/license or equivalent, and a minimum of 2 years OR/ASC experience. Day shift with a strong emphasis on patient safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Graduate or student of a formal Surgical Technician program or military training.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Hospital Operating Room or ASC preferred.
• Surgical Technician certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• NH Medical Technician Certification or NH license required unless already held.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and equipment before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments, holding retractors, and suctioning.
• Sterilize equipment and instruments, prepare supplies, and transport patients to the operating room.
• Monitor patient vital signs during surgery as directed by medical staff.
