Care New England's Surgical Technician supports operative teams by preparing and sterilizing equipment, assembling supplies, and maintaining the sterile field. They handle specimens and prep areas between procedures, ensuring smooth transitions and adherence to OR policy.
The role requires CPR certification, graduation from an approved OR Surgical Technician program, and proficiency in English. Candidates must demonstrate basic clinical care across age groups and uphold patient confidentiality.
The Surgical Technician provides assistance during surgical procedures, and handles equipment and supplies, such as sterilizing, assembly and maintenance. Processes specimens, and prepares area between procedures. Performs other job-related duties to maintain department standards and productivity.
Graduate of an approved Operation Room Surgical Technician program. Must have and maintain CPR Certification. Proficiency in the English language required.
