Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at our New Jersey facilities. You will support patient care teams, monitor patients, and assist our healthcare staff to deliver quality care.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, and AHA BLS HCP certification. Certification as Surgical Technician or OB Technician or proof of NJ certification law compliance is expected. Competitive starting pay provided.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• One year of hospital PCT experience.
• Previous OB Tech or Surgical Tech experience in the acute care setting.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
• Certified Surgical Technician or Certified OB Technician (or provides evidence of meeting the requirements of the NJ Surgical Technology Certification law in effect as of 12/21/2011)

Minimum rate of $30.77 Hourly
