Freeman Health System is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the operating room. The role involves assisting in the intraoperative phase of patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, in a fast-paced perioperative environment.

Evening/night hours include 6:30pm-7am, with a 36-hour week and a $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. On-call rotation is required with 30-minute facility response time.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Surgical Technologist program or 2+ years of scrubbing experience in a hospital setting.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers certification due within 60 days.
• CST certification preferred.

What You’ll Do

Under the supervision of the registered professional nurse, participates in the intraoperative phase of patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Surgical Technologist program or has greater than two years of clinical practice as a Scrub Tech in a hospital setting.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days.

Preferred Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
