Details Department: Surgical Services- Main OR Schedule: MidShift- 11am-9pm Hospital: Ascension St. Vincent Location: Indianapolis, IN This role is similar to a PCT role. Specialty pay is offered in this position. Over 150 associates. Split between RNs, CST/CSFA, X-Ray/PCT/Ancillary Staff. Perform terminal cleaning of each operating room daily, including thorough decontamination of furniture, equipment and air vents. Transport case carts, equipment and supplies and dispose of hazardous waste according to policies and procedures. Monitor and maintain supply inventories at an appropriate par level. Provide physical assistance for patient positioning, lifting and, moving as directed by clinical nursing staff. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred. Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
