Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Surgery Centers is seeking Surgical Technicians/Technologists to support the operating room team at the JHSCS White Marsh location in Nottingham, MD. This full-time role emphasizes skilled scrubbing, instrument prep, and a clean, safe surgical environment.

Under RN direction, candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a surgical tech program or AAD-ST, CPR prior to hire, and at least two years of experience. Certified candidates require NCCT/NBSTSA credentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of Surgical Technician program or AAD-ST certificate program.
• CPR required prior to hiring.
• Certification (NCCT or NBSTSA) for certified role.
• Minimum of two years of prior Surgical Technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operating room and scrub on all operative procedures.
• Obtain and prepare instruments and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe surgical environment.
• Flex to Central Sterile Processing Unit as needed to support daily operations.
